Trip/Activity Leadership Guidelines

January

Jan 20–21  Ice Climbing NH, White Mountains Region - Designed for experienced rock climber’s who have attended the rock courses or have equivalent experience.  Must have or rent, boots, crampons, and ice tools. Inexpensive lodging available at ski club.   Register with Leader: Joe Vaglio Co-Leader:  Pat BenderSee general trip information.

Sat, Jan TBD Annual Climbing Party, 6:30 pm., Place TBD. Get together with Rhode Island climber's old and new.  Pot luck:  A-L entrees, M-R appetizers, S-Z desserts.  

February

Feb 10-11  Ice Climbing Smuggler’s Notch, Stowe, VT - Designed for experienced rock climber’s who have attended the rock courses or have equivalent experience.   Must have, or rent, own gear. Cost share lodging. Register with Leader: Joe Vaglio Co-Leader:  TBD. See general trip information.

Jun 2-3  Rock Climbing Shawangunks, New Paltz, NY - Climbers comfortable on 5.6 routes or better.  Climbers whom have attended the climbing classes are given preference, lodging is up to you, dinner at an après climb restaurant. Jul 7-8  Rock Climbing Cannon Mt - Climbers comfortable on 5.8 routes or better, camping is at a private campground we have arranged. August

Aug 4-5 Rock Climbing Rumney, NH - Climbers comfortable on 5.8 routes or better, camp at local campground. Dinner at an après climb restaurant or cost share BBQ.  Leader: Pat Bender, Co-Leader: TBD. Contact the leader to register and get specific trip information.  See general trip information.

Sep 8-9 Rock Climbing Cathedral & Whitehorse Ledges, NH    For climbers comfortable on 5.7 routes or better, the Cathedral Ledge/Whitehorse Ledge trip has become a season favorite and registration fills up quickly. Inexpensive (approx. $24.00/night) bunkroom type lodging (Fri. and Sat. nights) at a ski club lodge for the first 25 registered participants who desire it, or you're welcome to find your own lodging. All meals on your own except for our traditional Saturday night cost shared (approx.$10.00) pizza gathering at the lodge for all participants. Leader: Dave Schlentz, Co-Leader: TBD.
